Belvidere Mopar Happening Review

The Belvidere Mopar Happening was finally blessed with perfect weather all weekend and the results were remarkable! The Charger Meet on Saturday had 50 cars in attendance with 33 registered for awards.  The rest of of the fairgrounds were littered with Mopars everywhere!  This is fast becoming a FULL-BLOWN two day event. The swap meet was huge and our cruise-in to Jack Wolf Chrysler that afternoon  filled the entire parking lot.  Then a cruise around town and to the assembly plant for a  photo op was a total success. Sunday’s main event was nothing short of spectacular with 300 cars entering the show!  We have nowhere to go but up, Mopar faithful.  The Belvidere Mopar Happening is alive and well!!   Like always I want to acknowledge the folks who helped make the Charger meet on Saturday the success that it was. Don Kettinger worked the front gate along with help from Spencer Peto.  Sue Kettinger handled registration and ballots as well as tallying the votes.  Reena handed out awards (which seemed appropriate seeing as her ‘73 SE adorned the trophies as well as the dash plaques).  Nick Afendoulis and Todd Carlson took care of parking and the event ran as smooth as silk.  Thank you all for making this possible.
